CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

This week the Christmas Bazaar takes over the parish. The members of the parish who are presenting the bazaar will be working in the parish hall all week. The bazaar itself begins next Friday evening at 5 o’clock and it continues on Saturday at 9 o’clock until 5 o’clock. The bazaar is both our biggest fund-raiser and social event of the year. So, I urge you to come to the bazaar. Spend a little time there; spend a little money as well. Have an enjoyable time. See you at the bazaar.

ANNUAL MARCH FOR LIFE

On Thursday, January 21, 2010, I am going to join a group that will travel by bus for Washington, D.C. to participate in the Thirty-Seventh Annual March For Life on Friday, January 22nd. While in Washington we shall visit the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and lobby our representatives in Congress on behalf of the unborn. The trip includes transportation to and around Washington and hotel rooms for two nights. The cost of the trip is $195 per person double occupancy. I can give you additional details or you can call Janet to register at 781-324-3564. The unborn are not able to speak so they need someone like you and me to speak for them.

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE

Please feel free to write into the Book of Remembrance the names of your beloved dead or if you prefer submit their names on the All Souls Envelopes which will be placed upon the altar. We shall be praying for these people during this month of November.

FOOD COLLECTION

The food collected today is being donated to the Tewksbury Food Pantry. Our next collection goes to the Wilmington Food Pantry.y.

THANKSGIVING ECUMENICAL SERVICE

This year the Ecumenical Service will take place at Wilmington United Methodist Church on Sunday evening November 22, at 6:00 PM. Please consider attending this event. Thanksgiving is a celebration that brings people together, why not gather with the people from the other churches this Thanksgiving. Our parish celebration will be Mass on Thanksgiving Eve at 7 PM and then on Thanksgiving Day at 8:30 AM.
